Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to six hours per shift
  • Ability to speak intermittently for 90 minutes multiple times daily
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Capable of working flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Good interpersonal skills and aptitude for learning detailed information
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus
  • Must be able to use radio microphone computer cell phone and other necessary equipment
  • Drug free workplace adherence
  • Punctual and reliable with consistent attendance

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a role which required strong customer service and communication skills
  • 1+ years of experience multitasking and working in a team environment
  • Experience giving presentations or public speaking
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing guest questions and troubleshooting routine program challenges
  • Experience with memorization of scripted material and facilitation of learning concepts
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow standard operating procedures
  • Demonstrates punctuality and regular attendance
  • Experience with technology related to events exhibits or Point of Sale preferred
  • Knowledge of Boeing and/or Boeing Future of Flight programs preferred

Job Duties

  • Engages customers enthusiastically to support all aspects of the visitor experience to enhance Boeing brand and products
  • Creates exceptional experiences for a diverse audience leaving a lasting positive impression of The Boeing Company
  • Memorizes and delivers scripted material and approved messaging to guests incorporating updates as required
  • Leads tours and theater activities with up to 200 attendees
  • Assists visitors with general building wayfinding safety and services at Future of Flight and Boeing Everett Factory sites
  • Facilitates ticket purchases guest greeting briefing theater tech and other operational assignments
  • Acts as role model and mentor for new staff
  • Supports development of supplemental documentation for public tour FAQs
  • Learns gallery and exhibit content and actively engages with visitors
  • Works efficiently to optimize program timing guest flow and staffing coverage
  • Works flexible schedule including mornings afternoons evenings weekends and holidays
  • Assists with evacuating guests during emergencies and implements safety training
  • Completes mandatory trainings and participates in team meetings
