Job Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
- Active veterinary license or ability to obtain upon hire
- DEA License or ability to obtain upon hire
- USDA Accreditation or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work with both small and large animals
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Comfortable working in environments with moderate noise
- Mental capacity for reasoning and communication in English
- Confidence working around various animal species
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week when necessary
Job Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active Veterinary State License or ability to obtain upon hire
- Current DEA License or ability to obtain upon hire
- USDA Accreditation or ability to obtain upon hire
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Provide veterinary care to both small and large animals
- Conduct ambulatory visits with provided vehicle and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
- Maintain client communication with a client-first approach
- Participate in continuing education and implement best practices
- Contribute to the growth and development of the large animal medicine program
- Adhere to licensing, liability coverage, and professional standards
