Job Duties
- Drive excellence in customer service
- Maintain company standards in product quality and facility specifications
- Supervise food handling procedures and operational processes
- Exercise basic financial control to meet profit margin targets
- Take full responsibility for specific financial controls and crew training assignments
- Screen prospective employees and make hiring decisions
- Perform hands-on operational duties and provide ongoing employee training
- Respond promptly to customer service needs and role model appropriate skills
- Develop and drive the restaurant annual operating plan
- Analyze sales, labor, inventory and take corrective action
- Develop vendor relationships and manage store capital expenditure requests
- Maintain facilities and equipment to company standards
- Monitor inventory and food preparation adherence
- Establish and monitor Speed With Service (SWS) targets and resolve bottlenecks
- Oversee scheduling for management and crew
- Direct restaurant human resources activities including hiring, performance management, compensation and employee relations
- Provide advanced training for management staff and develop future leaders
- Manage work environment to ensure compliance and fair employee treatment
