Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls
  • Proven ability to coach and train employees
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and provide solutions
  • Knowledge of food safety and product quality standards

Job Duties

  • Drive excellence in customer service
  • Maintain company standards in product quality and facility specifications
  • Supervise food handling procedures and operational processes
  • Exercise basic financial control to meet profit margin targets
  • Take full responsibility for specific financial controls and crew training assignments
  • Screen prospective employees and make hiring decisions
  • Perform hands-on operational duties and provide ongoing employee training
  • Respond promptly to customer service needs and role model appropriate skills
  • Develop and drive the restaurant annual operating plan
  • Analyze sales, labor, inventory and take corrective action
  • Develop vendor relationships and manage store capital expenditure requests
  • Maintain facilities and equipment to company standards
  • Monitor inventory and food preparation adherence
  • Establish and monitor Speed With Service (SWS) targets and resolve bottlenecks
  • Oversee scheduling for management and crew
  • Direct restaurant human resources activities including hiring, performance management, compensation and employee relations
  • Provide advanced training for management staff and develop future leaders
  • Manage work environment to ensure compliance and fair employee treatment
