Job Requirements
- Experience in authoring or reviewing weight and balance manuals/documents for regulatory requirements
- experience in estimating and measuring the weight of completed airframes or space vehicles
- willing to work first, second and/or third shift and weekends as required to support flight line operations
- willing to work a rotating shift schedule including occasional weekends and overtime

- experience authoring and checking Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual
- experience with Catia, Enovia, REDARS, IVT, Velocity preferred
Job Duties
- Develops inventory equipment lists
- conduct inventories
- weighs aircraft
- determines center of gravity of aircraft and documents results
- prepares Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual
- balances flight control surfaces
- develops standard flight load planning and helps direct airplane loading of variable load elements
- assists in the inspection of aircraft to calculate effects of actual weight and location of variable load elements on airplane gross weight and center of gravity and prepares flight manifest for pilot's signatures and flight release
- weighs and determines the centers of gravity of components and assemblies
- resolves routine problems with equipment, components, and weight systems
- works under general supervision
- willing to work a rotating shift schedule including occasional weekends and overtime
