Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years property management leadership experience
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to mentor and lead teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with student housing is advantageous

  • Student housing experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Support execution of the business plan for assigned communities
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Community Managers including coaching and performance feedback
  • Maintain consistent communication with onsite teams and review weekly property performance metrics
  • Serve as the main connection between corporate teams and onsite staff ensuring alignment on policies and best practices
  • Partner with marketing, leasing, and financial teams to improve performance
  • Monitor leasing trends, pricing, and competitor activity
  • Build relationships with universities and peer properties
  • Assist with budget oversight, monthly reporting, and cost control
  • Conduct property visits to ensure brand standards and curb appeal are maintained
  • Participate in recruiting efforts to strengthen onsite talent pipeline
  • Support contract compliance with vendors and service providers
  • Complete HR-related responsibilities and contribute to special projects
  • Travel to properties approximately 50% of the time
  • Regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds as required
