Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of multilingual content creation and management experience
- 3+ years of localization project management experience
- Fluency in at least one non-English language
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in fast-paced environments
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in multilingual omnichannel content creation and management ideally in hospitality travel or consumer brands
- 3+ years of localization project management experience
- Fluency or proficiency in one or more non-English languages with Spanish a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines
- Skilled at using tools to draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively with minimal direction
- Strong desire to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Translation Foreign Languages Linguistics or related field preferred
- Experience with industry-standard localization tools and Adobe cloud-based CMSes and project management tools including Adobe Workfront preferred
- Experience adopting MT/AI solutions in localization preferred
Job Duties
- Own the end-to-end project lifecycle for localization projects collaborating cross-functionally with external vendors and internal teams
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional Hyatt stakeholders and translation vendors including weekly touchpoints
- Support Senior Manager and Manager in implementing localization vendor strategy including selection onboarding and performance management
- Act as a key stakeholder on Commercial Services projects providing localization consultation including requirements gathering and technical design review
- Serve as localization subject matter expert advising internal teams regional offices hotel properties and agencies on best practices
- Continually identify opportunities to streamline localization processes and improve multilingual content quality and consistency
- Implement ongoing improvements to localization workflows establish SOPs and support evangelization of localization best practices
- Demonstrate a solutions-focused mindset responding to stakeholder needs and addressing project escalations in a timely manner
