Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of baseball, fastpitch, and slowpitch softball markets
  • Experience with sales, grassroots marketing, customer service, or event marketing
  • Ability to manage budgets and control inventory
  • Effective communication and social networking skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales, grassroots marketing, customer service, or event marketing experience
  • Understanding of business strategy and key business drivers
  • Former athlete and/or avid fan of fastpitch softball
  • Solid understanding of the baseball, fastpitch, and slowpitch softball industry and event marketing
  • Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively
  • Strong communication and social skills for networking and collaboration
  • Willingness to create and drive change with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong financial skills including budget management and inventory control
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Self-driven with high energy levels
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time

Job Duties

  • Manage the ideation, creation, strategy, staffing, and logistics for branded baseball, fastpitch, and slowpitch grassroots events
  • Collaborate with external resources such as complexes, showcases, travel ball organizations, display vendors, and agencies
  • Utilize internal resources including creative services, brand marketing team, and product team to drive product demonstrations and brand experiences
  • Provide analysis of event performance through metrics to key team members
  • Gather and report on player feedback to assist with product development initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze competitive brand activity to stay up to date on changes and trends in the industry
  • Manage marketing assets and activations with vendors, sponsors, and partners
  • Manage event logistics ensuring smooth retail and product demonstration operations
  • Build and maintain relationships with local tournament directors, travel organizations, and coaches
  • Optimize budget to drive a strong return on investment
  • Perform other duties as required
