Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in restaurant operations or management
- ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- assist in the management and direction of daily operations of the restaurant
- assure quality food, sanitation, and customer service
- supervise all restaurant personnel and perform administrative functions in the absence of the Manager
- monitor staffing levels compared to sales volume to ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous customer contact
- circulate throughout the restaurant to contact customers and monitor product and service quality during peak meal periods
- assist in the production of quality food and beverage as assigned
- identify and enhance a continually increasing loyal customer base
- report competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and other matters of marketing importance
- implement new menus, menu ideas, and promotional programs
- monitor controllable costs including foods, beverages, labor, supplies, repairs and maintenance
- supervise employee compliance with procedures to maintain these areas at profitable levels
- train hourly staff, recommend promotions, discipline, and terminations
- interview and select hourly employees
- coordinate and guide the training of Assistant Managers
- stimulate positive employee morale and minimize staff turnover through communication, motivation, and counseling
- guide and direct subordinate activities to maximize productivity and ensure efficient customer flow
