Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service management preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • successful completion of background check and drug screen
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • physical ability to stand and move throughout the restaurant during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to manage staffing and scheduling
  • marketing and sales experience preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • assist in management and direction of daily operations
  • assure quality food, sanitation, and customer service
  • supervise all restaurant personnel
  • perform administrative functions in absence of the manager
  • monitor staffing levels compared to sales volume
  • circulate throughout restaurant to contact customers and monitor product and service quality
  • assist in production of food and beverage
  • identify and enhance loyal customer base
  • report competitors' strengths and weaknesses
  • implement new menus and promotional programs
  • monitor controllable costs including food, beverage, labor, supplies, repairs, and maintenance
  • train hourly staff
  • recommend promotions, discipline, and terminations
  • interview and select hourly employees
  • coordinate and guide training of assistant managers
  • stimulate positive employee morale and minimize staff turnover
  • guide and direct subordinate activities to maximize productivity and ensure efficient customer flow
