Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- ability to work full-time day shift hours Monday to Friday
- capacity to cover some holidays
- ability to sit, stand, lift, carry, and assist patients in wheelchairs
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to embrace hospital culture and values
- capability to learn and operate required software including Teams, Outlook, Cerner, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- previous concierge-level customer service experience preferred
- prior healthcare experience involving patient or public contact preferred
- proficiency in computer software such as Teams and Outlook
- strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Set the tone for an exceptional guest experience by welcoming all visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
- serve as an information resource by answering questions, providing accurate and current information, and giving directions within the hospital and adjoining facilities
- embrace and demonstrate the mission and vision of the organization as a culture champion
- perform wayfinding, feedback loop management, handle communications via desk phone, intake complaints, and direct people during emergency situations
- assist patients physically by sitting, standing, lifting, carrying, and helping patients in wheelchairs
- maintain concierge-level customer service attitude at all times
- adhere to hospital protocols and ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality standards
