Job Requirements
- basic reading and communicating skills
- ability to operate standard cleaning equipment
- basic computer skills
- ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 35 pounds
- availability to work scheduled shifts including every other weekend
- willingness to work in potentially hazardous healthcare environments exposed to blood, body fluids, biohazard waste, communicable diseases, and chemicals

Job Duties
- perform specialized cleaning and sanitizing duties with the intent of providing a safe healthcare environment
- complete standardized cleaning process in patient rooms, offices, departments, and other secondary areas utilizing the seven-step cleaning process
- demonstrate individual and team behaviors that embody the service excellence philosophy
- operate standard cleaning equipment
- maintain strict confidentiality of all work-related information
- interact constantly with co-workers, support staff, nursing/clinical staff, patients, physicians, family members, and management using the AIDET communication principles
- perform additional duties as assigned within the Support Services Department
