Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- three or more years of relevant experience preferred
- strong supervision and leadership skills
- experience with event management software
- ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
- commitment to promoting safe and secure working conditions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- three or more years of experience in conference and event management or related field
- experience with event execution and program supervision
- strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- ability to build and foster strong relationships with multiple constituents
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- proficiency with 25 Live event management software and Wrike project management software
Job Duties
- Oversee management and coordination of logistics for summer programs including university-sponsored and external camps and conferences
- support event logistics for all campus events including university-sponsored, affiliated, and external non-affiliated events
- provide system management backup for 25 Live, Catertrax, and Star Rez software
- coordinate selection, training, and supervision of student staff including development of training programs and scheduling
- oversee development of marketing materials such as website updates and event planning toolkits
- manage, train, and develop professional conference and event staff including program coordinators
- participate in professional development activities including attending meetings and supporting events occasionally at night or on weekends
