Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree
  • minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience preferably in admission events or communications
  • demonstrated success planning and executing complex events with multiple stakeholders
  • strong mind of logistics and creating operational workflows
  • proficiency with Slate CRM particularly events forms queries and communications workflows
  • experience supervising training and mentoring professional staff and student employees or ambassadors
  • must be a self-starter and possess a can-do attitude
  • a valid driver's license is required

Job Duties

  • lead the planning and execution of admission events including daily visit programming preview events admitted student events group visits counselor programs virtual programs and other recruitment and yield-focused experiences
  • manage admission events timelines run-of-show documents space reservations registration processes staffing accessibility considerations and post-event follow-up
  • collaborate with faculty student life athletics alumni facilities dining IT and marketing partners to ensure cohesive welcoming and mission-aligned events
  • maintain event calendars operational templates and planning documentation for consistency and improvement
  • oversee logistics scheduling and execution of admissions communications including print digital and Slate throughout recruitment funnel
  • build and manage communications workflows in Slate including event invitations confirmations reminders application and admission communications and yield messaging
  • lead recruitment hiring training scheduling and supervision of student interns and the HEAT Student Ambassador Tour Guide program
