Job Requirements
- No formal education or experience required
- must complete onboarding training or be enrolled in program within 90 days of hire
- must be able to read, speak, and understand English
- basic math skills
- good work organization
- ability to learn and use powered and non-powered floor care equipment
- must be able to work well in a team environment
- ability to follow safety procedures including use of personal protective equipment
- ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally
- ability to work outdoors 10 percent of the time in temperatures below 32 degrees and above 90 degrees
- occasional mandatory overtime required

Job Duties
- Assist in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for residents
- perform specific cleaning tasks in assigned areas including restrooms, resident rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, stairwells, lounges, and elevators
- mop, buff floors, wash walls, and dust surfaces
- operate powered and non-powered cleaning equipment
- perform grounds-keeping, snow removal and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- work occasional mandatory overtime during residence hall move-in and move-out periods
