Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for long hours and work outside in all weather conditions
  • ability to travel up to 2 hours to event locations using personal vehicle
  • must attend 3-6 training sessions per month in person or remotely
  • strong customer service orientation
  • tech-savvy with excellent technical troubleshooting skills

Job Duties

  • Represent Auction.com at live auctions
  • conduct, co-host and participate in auctions held on courthouse steps
  • interact with bidders and customers during events
  • multitask to ensure all auction processes are completed successfully
  • maintain professionalism with customers and event location staff such as deputies and government employees
  • facilitate auction day processes
  • maintain event equipment and materials
  • act as a subject matter expert on customer resources
  • communicate professionally and network effectively
  • collect customer information using proprietary software
  • track bids and auctioneer
  • complete customer receipts and event reports
  • facilitate on-the-job training for event support roles
  • participate in scheduled training and team calls
  • complete all tasks with high quality, efficiency and attention to detail
