Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Minimum of three years relevant experience
Ability to travel occasionally
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Strong communication skills
Leadership experience
Proficient computer skills

Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field
Minimum of three years experience in facilities, event management or related field preferably in collegiate or professional athletics
Master’s degree preferred
Strong computer skills and related software capability
Excellent management, organizational, analytical and project management skills
Ability to travel occasionally and work on weekends, nights and holidays when necessary
Ability to analyze, interpret, communicate, and adhere to athletics, university, conference and NCAA policies, procedures, rules and regulations
Ability to develop meaningful and productive relationships with colleagues, coaches and student-athletes

Job Duties

Provide unit leadership for athletics facilities daily operations and game day/special events
Provide unit leadership for all full-time, student and event-based operations staff
Schedule use of all athletics facilities and maintain a master schedule of events
Direct and supervise operations for all athletics game day and special events and coordinate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality guest experience
Develop and implement a credential system for athletics and special events
Oversee all operations, maintenance and custodial services for athletics facilities including multiple sports venues
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures and oversee security for each facility, working with Campus Public Safety
Develop and coordinate submission of bids for postseason hosting opportunities
Serve as liaison to University committees related to facilities, capital projects and related areas
Lead all capital planning and projects for athletics facilities
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics
