Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or related field
- Minimum three years’ experience in Facilities, Event Management or related field preferably in collegiate or professional athletics
- Ability to travel occasionally and work on weekends, nights and holidays when necessary
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must pass motor vehicle reports check
- Must pass sex offender registry check
- Must pass substance abuse testing
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or related field
- Minimum three years’ experience in Facilities, Event Management or related field preferably in collegiate or professional athletics
- Master’s degree preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent management, organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Ability to develop meaningful and productive relationships with colleagues, coaches and student-athletes
- Ability to meet established deadlines and work effectively with diverse groups
- Ability to analyze, interpret, communicate and adhere to Athletics, university, conference and NCAA policies
Job Duties
- Provide unit leadership for athletics facilities daily operations and game day/special events
- Provide unit leadership for all full-time, student and event-based operations staff
- Schedule use of all athletics facilities and maintain a master schedule of events
- Direct and supervise operations for all athletics game day and special events and coordinate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality guest experience
- Develop and implement a credential system for athletics and special events
- Oversee all operations, maintenance and custodial services for athletics facilities, including the Jack Stephens Center, Hatcher Wrestling Center, Hogan Field, Coleman Sports Complex and Donaghey Student Center Natatorium
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures and oversee security for each facility, working with Campus Public Safety
- Develop and coordinate submission of bids for postseason hosting opportunities
- Serve as liaison to University committees related to facilities, capital projects and related areas
- Lead all capital planning and projects for athletics facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics
