Job Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field
- Preferred 0–2 years of relevant work experience, including internships or coursework in real estate or finance
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
Job Duties
- Assist with gathering, reviewing, and organizing client documentation required for loan underwriting
- Participate in analyzing the prospective sponsor’s commercial real estate loan application and its ability to repay the loan in a timely manner
- Assist in determining the sponsor’s eligibility based on credit history, analyzing financial assets and evaluating net worth as it relates to the request loan
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and third-party partners throughout the loan process
- Help maintain accurate client records in CRM systems
- Conduct preliminary research on potential borrowers and properties
- Participate in site visits or property reviews alongside senior staff, as needed
