Job Requirements

  • ability to prepare meals for large groups of people
  • no culinary experience required
  • ability to work flexible hours between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm
  • dependable and trustworthy
  • capable of following food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • willing to work full-time or part-time
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work confidently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong attention to detail
  • passion for cooking and food preparation
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • previous experience in cooking or food service is a plus but not required
  • ability to adapt to flexible work hours

Job Duties

  • prepare tasty home-cooked meals based on menu and recipe requirements
  • monitor food quality for taste, smell, appearance, and temperature
  • plan culinary delights tailored to residents' dietary needs
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food sanitation standards
  • ensure kitchen is well-stocked and organized
  • keep recipes and menus well maintained
  • provide excellent culinary care to senior living residents
