Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old or older
  • possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record check
  • have one to three months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • successfully pass the ServSafe exam prior to starting
  • able to pass alcohol training upon selection
  • able to pass Food Handlers test and maintain valid Food Handlers card
  • demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
  • able to stand for prolonged periods
  • able to regularly use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel, stoop, crawl or kneel
  • able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment
  • able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions including sunny, wet and humid conditions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • provide and lead team to deliver superior guest service
  • regularly keep ambassadors motivated and energized
  • open and close facilities in accordance with established procedures
  • provide menu and park information to guests
  • monitor equipment and report any problem to proper personnel
  • ensure meal and rest periods are provided to ambassadors as required by company policy
  • set up and monitor queue lines
  • record moneybag recaps and complete tasks on station task lists
  • monitor stations to assure food looks pleasing and is portioned in accordance with recipes
  • monitor temperature of food and equipment in accordance with established HACCP plan and take appropriate action
  • supervise and train ambassadors
  • authorize ambassador over-rings
  • monitor food waste and assist with educating ambassadors on waste procedures
  • carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws including training ambassadors
  • plan, assign and direct work
  • access performance
  • reward and discipline ambassadors
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • enthusiastically represent the park by displaying a positive attitude
  • prepare and serve food for park guests
  • clean facilities
  • operate kitchen equipment and registers
  • assist with training and supervision of ambassadors
  • ensure excellent guest service by responding to guest requirements, expectations and needs
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed
