Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 or older
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Pass a Utah State background check
  • Willing to commit for a minimum of 8 months
  • Obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting

  • Able to learn student challenges, behavioral disorders, and medication protocols
  • Strong teaching, motivational, and team-building skills
  • Works effectively with interdisciplinary teams including therapists and nurses
  • Skilled in communication, prioritization, and safely managing crisis situations

Job Duties

  • Lead and train life coaches by modeling interventions and managing escalated situations
  • Assign responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth and efficient shift operations
  • Guide new hires through structured, checklist-based on-shift orientation
  • Facilitate weekly training sessions and provide ongoing coaching to elevate team performance
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance regularly with formal quarterly reviews
  • Address performance issues professionally using structured disciplinary protocols
  • Share key shift updates during handoffs to maintain continuity and transparency
  • Advocate for your shift during interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings
  • Conduct quarterly safety drills and model best practices to maintain a secure environment
