Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum three years of retail supervisory or management experience
- Strong analytical, judgment, decision-making and communication skills
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform opening and closing procedures
- Experience managing budgets and payroll
- Proficient with computers and software applications
- Valid First-Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand, walk, lift frequently up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in a moderate noise environment
- Capacity to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three years related experience in retail supervision or management with proven incremental supervisory advancement
- Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communication skills
- Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to build understanding and consensus
- Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics
- Ability to write reports and correspondence effectively
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to calculate figures and manage budgets
- Knowledge and comfort with computer use including mouse, keyboard, 10-key, touchscreen, web-based platforms
- Valid First-Aid/CPR card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Self-motivated, resourceful, creative, with high integrity and problem-solving skills
- Positive can-do approach and ability to build effective working relationships
Job Duties
- Performs all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities
- Ensure that the store audits are maintained at or above an acceptable level
- Ensure the LP Audits are maintained at an acceptable level
- Lead the semi-annual inventory
- Monitor all safe procedures and ensure all cash handling procedures are per policy
- Oversee supply management and ordering processes to ensure smooth store operations while monitoring expenses to stay within budget
- Ensure payroll expenses are aligned within budgeted parameters
- Delegate work to appropriate employees
- Ensure that all wage requests and payroll timekeeping is up to date for all employees
- Responsible for all employee reimbursements, petty cash, and travel related expenses
- Ensure building and functions are properly maintained and submit and monitor maintenance requests
- Ensure security and safety systems are in working order including door locks, alarms, bank deposits, refunds, vouchers, and incident reports
- Be active in interviewing and onboarding new retail employees by following recruitment guidelines
- Serve as the security captain for the store location collaborating with management and Loss Prevention to protect company assets
- Deliver exceptional customer service to a variety of customers
