Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years retail or sales management experience preferred
- must be 18 years old or older
- excellent communication verbal and written skills
- able to travel throughout the district
- excellent customer service skills
- knowledge of administrative store operations
- physical capability to stand, maneuver on sales floor and stockroom, operate register, lift 50 pounds, hand/fold merchandise, climbing, reaching, pushing/pulling
- regular attendance essential
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
Job Qualifications

- ability to communicate with customers effectively
- physical ability to stand, maneuver on sales floor and stockroom, operate register, lift and carry 50 pounds, hand/fold merchandise, climb, reach, push/pull
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage
- review time sheets and payroll documentation for accuracy and submit appropriately
- promote customer service by ensuring associates greet and assist customers
- respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally and timely
- supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation or customer services
- model sales expectations using techniques and product knowledge
- recommend merchandise selections based on customer needs
- maintain visually appealing store with proper housekeeping and visual merchandising
- train associates on visual merchandising techniques
- monitor associate sales activities and productivity
- acknowledge and communicate performance
- motivate and train associates
- perform financial activities including cash handling, price changes, and merchandise handling
- administer operational processes including inventory receipt, dispatch, and physical inventories
- manage general store operations ensuring safe and efficient working order
- support compliance with laws, loss prevention policies and operating procedures
- conduct associate training to reinforce controls
- assist in recruiting, hiring, and development of store associates
- interpret key performance reports and deliver coaching
- provide feedback to Store Manager for performance evaluations
- perform other duties as assigned
