Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in automotive or customer service environment
- ability to lead and manage teams
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- physical ability to lift 60lbs
- familiarity with inventory management systems
- willingness to work in a fast paced retail setting
- ability to sustain employee engagement and lead operational initiatives
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- technical or trade school courses or degree completion
- experience in automotive after-market service industry or hobby/DIY world or willingness to learn all things automotive
- passion for delivering customer care and building long term relationships
- ability to thrive in fast paced and complex environments
- knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
- ability to lift 60lbs
- background or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership preferred
- experience in parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management preferred
- completely customer-centric mindset
- ASE certifications preferred
- NAPA Know How preferred
Job Duties
- Create a superior customer service experience to achieve maximum market penetration and drive store growth and profitability
- provide daily leadership and sustain a culture of employee engagement
- partner with teammates to drive company owned store initiatives
- lead a successful team and support the store manager in fast-paced retail stores
- manage store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer service
- build, coach, train and engage crew team to deliver superior levels of customer care and business results
- oversee inventory protection, asset management, operational and safety issues
- maintain overall cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room and outside areas
- drive NAPA operational and marketing programs while steering continuous improvement in processes and procedures
- grow customer relationships, assist with sales and service questions, and ensure positive experiences both in-store and on the phone
