Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience or education in technical, trade, or automotive field
  • Ability to deliver high-quality customer service
  • Leadership skills to manage teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Knowledge of inventory and operational procedures
  • Physical ability to lift 60lbs
  • Willingness to learn automotive products and services

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of technical or trade school courses or degree preferred
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket service industry or a strong willingness to learn
  • Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems
  • Ability to lift 60lbs in some situations
  • Background or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership is a plus
  • Experience in parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management is advantageous
  • Entirely customer-centric approach both external and internal
  • ASE Certifications considered a plus
  • Familiarity with NAPA know-how

Job Duties

  • Create a superior customer service experience to achieve maximum market penetration and drive store growth
  • Provide daily leadership and foster a culture of employee engagement
  • Partner with teammates to drive company-owned store initiatives
  • Lead a successful team supporting the store manager
  • Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits, and customer service
  • Build, coach, train, and engage the team to deliver superior customer care and business results
  • Oversee inventory protection, asset management, operational and safety issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas
  • Drive operational and marketing programs while pursuing continuous process improvements
  • Grow customer relationships and assist with sales and service questions to ensure a positive customer experience
