- willingness to learn all things automotive
- ability to lift 60 pounds
- experience working in fast-paced retail or automotive environment
- good communication and leadership skills
- ability to manage store operations effectively
- understanding of inventory control and asset management
- commitment to achieving sales and customer service goals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- technical or trade school courses or degree completion
- experience in the automotive aftermarket service industry or hobby/DIY world or willingness to learn
- passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment
- knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems
- ability to lift 60 pounds
- background or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership preferred
- experience in parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management is a plus
- entirely customer-centric approach
- ASE certifications preferred
- familiarity with NAPA Know How
Job Duties
- Create a superior customer service experience to achieve maximum market penetration and drive store growth
- provide daily leadership and foster a culture of employee engagement
- partner with teammates to drive company owned store initiatives
- lead and support the store manager in managing fast-paced retail store operations
- build, coach, train, and engage crew team to deliver superior customer care and business results
- ensure inventory protection, asset management, operational and safety compliance
- maintain overall cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas
- drive NAPA operational and marketing programs while continuously improving processes
- grow customer relationships and ensure a positive experience in-store and on the phone
