Job Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to travel between stores in Middletown, DE and Newark, DE as needed
- Commitment to upholding company policies and procedures
- Reliable transportation for travel between store locations
- Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Basic knowledge of merchandising and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Provide support to stores in Middletown, DE and Newark, DE as needed
- Assist Senior Store Manager with training of store associates
- Promote a culture of coaching by providing insights to improve customer experience and increase selling aptitude
- Achieve or exceed store financial targets through effective execution and customer service
- Ensure store execution of product merchandising, marketing, and POP standards
- Follow Mattress Firm procedures for product transfers to ensure proper inventory documentation
- Resolve customer-related issues and escalate when necessary
