Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • willingness to learn all things automotive
  • ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • capability to lift 60 lbs when required
  • experience or passion for automotive industry preferred
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • availability to support store operations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • technical or trade school courses or degree completion
  • experience in automotive after-market service or hobby/DIY automotive knowledge
  • passion for customer care and relationship building
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of cataloging or inventory management systems
  • ability to lift 60 lbs
  • background or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership preferred
  • experience in parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management preferred
  • entirely customer-centric mindset
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • NAPA Know How experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Create a superior customer service experience to achieve market penetration
  • drive store growth, sales, and profitability
  • provide daily leadership and foster employee engagement
  • partner with teammates to support company initiatives
  • lead a successful team and support the store manager
  • manage store operations for sales, profits, and customer service
  • build, coach, train, and engage the team to deliver excellent customer care
  • oversee inventory protection, asset management, operational and safety issues
  • maintain cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas
  • implement NAPA operational and marketing programs
  • grow customer relationships and assist with sales and service inquiries
