Job Duties

  • Assist in recruiting, hiring and training individuals to provide exceptional customer service as members of the Maplefields team
  • coordinate and participate in all functions and duties associated with operating a convenience store
  • monitor to ensure cash drawers and explain overages and shortages
  • complete financial bookkeeping and paperwork
  • provide shift coverage when needed during any part of the business day
  • create a positive work environment to motivate, encourage and train store staff
  • implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store and storefront are clean, well stocked, organized
  • follow all company policies and established procedures in day-to-day operations and communicate issues with upper level management
  • ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed safely and effectively
  • communicate and perform price change requests from the corporate office and understand monthly promotions and signage
  • implement and enforce vendor policies and procedures including invoices scanned in on time
  • ensure all environmental procedures are followed and staff trained on spill response, safety and security issues as well as reporting procedures
  • ensure all staff and customer incidents or accidents are reported following company protocol
