Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in retail
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • ability to operate store equipment including forklift
  • physical capability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • flexible work schedule availability
  • reliable transportation
  • minimum age of 18 years
  • successful completion of drug test

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience leading a retail team
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • good communication skills
  • ability to operate store equipment including forklift
  • ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work flexible schedules
  • reliable transportation
  • 18 years or older
  • ability to pass a drug test

Job Duties

  • assist in the operational management of the stores
  • adhere to operational policies and procedures including cleanliness, animal care, safety and security
  • assist in promoting team member engagement and morale by understanding individual motivation and needs, recognizing and rewarding successful performance, and helping team members achieve career goals
  • assist in maintaining a fully staffed team and supports recruiting and onboarding
  • cultivate a learning culture by providing onboarding and development opportunities, coaching and feedback
  • connect with community organizations to partner on events and marketing opportunities
  • analyze store sales and develop plans to maximize sales and productivity
