Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of leadership experience in retail
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- ability to operate store equipment including forklift
- physical capability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- flexible work schedule availability
- reliable transportation
- minimum age of 18 years
- successful completion of drug test
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience leading a retail team
- bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- high school diploma or GED required
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- good communication skills
- ability to operate store equipment including forklift
- ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work flexible schedules
- reliable transportation
- 18 years or older
- ability to pass a drug test
Job Duties
- assist in the operational management of the stores
- adhere to operational policies and procedures including cleanliness, animal care, safety and security
- assist in promoting team member engagement and morale by understanding individual motivation and needs, recognizing and rewarding successful performance, and helping team members achieve career goals
- assist in maintaining a fully staffed team and supports recruiting and onboarding
- cultivate a learning culture by providing onboarding and development opportunities, coaching and feedback
- connect with community organizations to partner on events and marketing opportunities
- analyze store sales and develop plans to maximize sales and productivity
