Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of retail or grocery operations management experience
- Minimum 4 years of progressive leadership experience
- Ability to lead and develop team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of merchandising and sales strategies
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles

Job Duties
- Provide direction related to store operations processes and conditions
- Plan, direct, and supervise the day-to-day team activities
- Select, train and develop team members and manage their performance
- Develop strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales and profitability
- Ensure customer needs are met and complaints are resolved quickly and effectively
- Merchandise products and displays to maximize sales and profitability
- Forecast staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies
- Lead performance management activities and make decisions on career development
- Communicate daily with team members and lead huddles
- Uphold cultural standards and values through effective communication
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and local regulations
- Deliver on key performance metrics including sales, shrink, labor, margin, profit, customer satisfaction, and safety
- Act as a community partner to support the Meijer brand
