Job Requirements

  • Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies and communicate effectively
  • Previous experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment
  • Demonstrated experience operating cash register and computer equipment
  • Knowledge and application of food sanitation and safety
  • Availability for varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Ability to work independently and with team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Cash handling and customer service experience
  • Experience operating cash registers and related equipment

  • Ability to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight and holidays
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Assist Station Manager in day-to-day retail operations
  • Maintain station operations and staff oversight in Manager's absence
  • Provide work direction, motivation and coaching to staff
  • Support and adhere to safety, security, and quality guidelines
  • Respond professionally and timely to accidents or incidents
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations
  • Support cash handling and accountability processes
  • Role-model safe behaviors and preserve workplace safety
  • Maintain professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors and community
  • Ensure reliable and predictable attendance
  • Perform Customer Service Representative duties as needed
  • Manage store operations including customer service, stocking, cleaning and food service
  • Assist with product inventory management
  • Coordinate with other stations to avoid out-of-stocks
  • Conduct mini-audits for stock accuracy
  • Comply with Loss Prevention and use transactional equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and operation of food service equipment
  • Inform Station Manager of operational issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Complete administrative tasks related to retail and gas sales
  • Communicate station operations to Business Consultant in Manager's absence
  • Support company wage and hour guidelines understanding
  • Role-model core values of safety, diversity, inclusion, integrity and trust
