Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree or bachelor's preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Valid U.S. Passport with ability to travel up to 10%
- Experience in culinary arts or hospitality preferred
- Current ServSafe certification required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or certification and current ServSafe certification
- Experience in hospitality, event coordination, or guest services with preferred wine industry experience
- WSET Level 2 certification or equivalent wine education preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a collaborative work approach
- Demonstrated financial acumen including budgeting and cost control knowledge
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and evenings
- Attention to detail and commitment to brand standards
- Professional experience in pastry or bakery kitchens preferred
- Understanding of wine and food pairing principles
- Creative abilities in dessert design and presentation
- Ability to develop innovative menus and plating styles
- Experience with inventory management, food costing, and SOP adherence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality software is a plus
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and industry trends
Job Duties
- Assist with food preparation and plating ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and stock rotation in collaboration with kitchen leadership
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards complying with all regulations
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff fostering a positive kitchen environment
- Support kitchen workflow and communication during service for timely dish delivery
- Contribute creatively to menu development providing feedback and testing recipes
- Uphold operational standards including cost control, portioning, and record-keeping
