Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 3 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Ability to maintain food handling and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work full time on-site

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develops and designs new culinary applications and ideas
  • Maintains food handling and sanitation standards
  • Oversees production and preparation of culinary items
  • Coordinates service and timing of events with Restaurant and Banquet departments
  • Leads shifts while preparing food and executing requests
  • Handles employee questions and concerns
  • Conducts employee performance appraisals and training
