Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years culinary or food and beverage experience for candidates with a 2-year degree
  • Minimum 5 years culinary or food and beverage experience without a degree
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Willingness to participate in hands-on food preparation during busy periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 3 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to design and implement new culinary concepts and menus

Job Duties

  • Develop and create new culinary applications and products
  • Maintain food handling and sanitation standards
  • Oversee production and preparation of culinary items
  • Coordinate service and timing with Restaurant and Banquet departments
  • Lead and mentor culinary team members
  • Manage food and supply inventories and purchasing
  • Handle guest complaints and ensure exceptional customer service
