Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to four years of casino-related experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain all local, state and federal regulatory permits
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in environments with secondary smoke and high noise levels
- Ability to work under pressure
- Mobility throughout the casino
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to four years of casino-related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with casino software applications such as CMS casino system, CDS Aristocrat system, EVERI compliance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to learn new software applications
- Working knowledge of Title 31
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image
Job Duties
- Manages the operation of the department on an assigned shift to include staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals
- Recommends procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the Slot Department
- Prepares and analyzes daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Develops and implements changes in accordance with current needs
- Ensures that customer database is maintained and information is accurate
- Trains new slot employees
- Identifies and resolves guest and employee concerns
- Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings
- Recruits, trains, supervises, motivates and evaluates department staff
- Completes human resource paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Communicates with Supervisors, Managers, and Directors on departmental operations
- Other duties as assigned
