Job Requirements
- washington state food and beverage worker's permit required
- completion of criminal justice fingerprint clearance upon hire
- availability to work 2.5 hours daily monday through friday
- ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- reliable transportation to firgrove elementary
- ability to follow health and safety guidelines
- willingness to work in a school food service environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or similar role preferred
- knowledge of basic food safety principles
- ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- assist with food preparation and serving
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- interact courteously with students and staff
- support the smooth operation of meal service
- comply with Washington State Food and Beverage Worker's Permit requirements
- complete criminal justice fingerprint clearance process
