Job Requirements

Washington State Food and Beverage Worker’s Permit required
Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance upon hire
Ability to work 2.25 hours daily Monday to Friday during scheduled hours
Reliable transportation to and from Mt. View Elementary
Ability to handle fast-paced work environment
Must comply with all school district policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in food service or cafeteria work is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stand for extended periods
Previous experience working with children is a plus

Job Duties

Assist in serving meals to students and staff
Maintain cleanliness of cafeteria and food service areas
Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation
Monitor food inventory and report shortages
Provide friendly customer service to students and staff
Help set up and break down food service stations
