Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience in rooms division or related field
  • Experience in luxury hospitality environment
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and computer systems
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of previous rooms division management experience
  • Experience in a luxury hotel and/or resort
  • Front Office and/or Housekeeping Management experience highly preferred
  • Previous pre-opening experience desirable
  • Ability to use computer systems related to scheduling, payroll, purchasing, guest lists and activity reports
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Direct and control activities of the Front Office, Concierge, Bell/Door, and Valet to ensure adherence to standards, policies and procedures
  • Review and analyze guest engagement scores
  • Ensure profile accuracy to create a personalized experience for guests
  • Perform daily stand up and run meetings for Front of House departments
  • Foster a collaborative and engaging culture among front of house associates
  • Recruit and onboard new front of house associates
  • Provide corrective coaching to front of house associates
  • Review and resolve day-to-day Manager Logs with same day resolutions
  • Complete payroll records and ensure proper labor management
  • Manage front of house supplies and long-term storage
  • Supervise and assist with answering and directing phone calls, wake up calls and other guest communications
  • Perform guest recognition tasks and ensure proper training in usage
  • Lead Housekeeping MOD coverage during Director of Housekeeping absence
  • Manage room inventory, room status and labor allocation
  • Train floor supervisors on housekeeping standards
  • Prepare daily rooms report noting discrepancies
  • Maintain cleanliness of Food and Beverage public areas
  • Identify and report property maintenance issues and create work orders
  • Inspect guest floors, suites, occupied and check-out rooms daily
  • Support consistent protocols for housekeeping associates
  • Collaborate with Front of House to prepare show rooms
  • Support housekeeping associate meetings, training and recognition events
