Job Requirements

  • One to two years previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in food and beverage
  • Working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and food and beverage computer systems
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • Ability to operate food and beverage computer systems
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Room Service Department to ensure cultural and core standards are met
  • Be visible in daily operations, provide recognition, promote public relations, and handle guest complaints, concerns, and special requests
  • Ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, and possess knowledge of wine and spirits for 24-hour in-room dining and in-room private bar services
  • Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and cost control
  • Attend regular operational meetings to coordinate and cooperate between departments
  • Monitor physical condition of facilities and equipment and recommend corrections and improvements
  • Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and service excellence at all times
