Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to guests and staff
  • Ability to stand and walk 100 percent of the shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, up to 20 times per shift
  • Ability to place items on high shelves and in walk-in cooler or freezer
  • Ability to work in damp and hot environments frequently
  • Ability to work with open flames and sharp knives
  • Ability to use kitchen machinery such as slicers
  • Ability to hold items weighing up to 5lbs for extended periods

  • Experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality preferred

Job Duties

  • Assists with administrative duties including ordering, receiving, inventory, scheduling, and vendor invoice management
  • Sources, interviews, hires candidates, trains staff, delegates tasks, provides direction, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines employees
  • Oversees daily financial responsibilities such as cash handling, daily deposits, authorizes comps and voids
  • Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints
  • Oversees cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facility to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assists with marketing strategy and implements advertising and promotional campaigns
  • Provides performance feedback and assists with professional development of the team
  • Operates computers and associated hardware for various systems
  • May perform duties of service assistant, cook, server, or bartender when needed
  • Assists in other duties as directed by supervisors
