Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a food and beverage or hospitality supervisory role
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations including bar service
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for guest service
- Experience with restaurant or hotel POS systems preferred
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Certification in SERV Safe Food Manager or willingness to obtain
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Commitment to fostering a positive team environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of experience in food and beverage or hospitality supervisory roles such as Assistant Restaurant Manager or Shift Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations including bar service and drink preparation
- Ability to accurately describe menu items and ingredients to guests and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Ability to work outdoors and stand for most of the workday
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Positive and outgoing attitude with a love for guest service
- Experience with restaurant or hotel systems (Toast POS experience a plus)
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Current or willing to obtain SERV Safe Food Manager Certification
- Ability to observe regular and consistent attendance
- Contribute to a positive team environment
Job Duties
- Lead and support a positive team culture while enforcing company policies and procedures
- Conduct interviews and help recruit team members to maintain strong staffing levels
- Train new hires and coach existing staff to uphold restaurant standards and service expectations
- Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations to support employee development
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations and assist back-of-house as needed
- Oversee key areas of restaurant operations including food and beverage planning, purchasing, sanitation, safety, bar operations, compliance, staff scheduling, labor control, team supervision, recordkeeping, and reporting
- Take ownership of operational tasks including reporting, financial closeouts, and completion of shift-end responsibilities
- Organize employee schedules and monitor hours to ensure proper staffing levels
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Address guest concerns promptly
- Order food and supplies within budget
- Monitor and control costs and reduce waste
- Interact with guests to gather feedback and enhance service quality
