Job Requirements

  • 1-year proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
  • proven customer service experience as a manager
  • extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
  • familiarity with restaurant management software
  • strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • obtain and maintain current SERV Safe Food Manager's Certification
  • be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
  • contribute to a positive team environment

Job Qualifications

  • 1-year proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
  • proven customer service experience as a manager
  • extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and waitstaff
  • familiarity with restaurant management software
  • strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • obtain and maintain current SERV Safe Food Manager's Certification
  • proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports
  • be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
  • contribute to a positive team environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure incoming staff complies with company policies and maintain a positive company culture
  • train new and existing staff to follow restaurant procedures and uphold standards
  • maintain safety and food quality standards to ensure the health and satisfaction of customers
  • handle customer complaints promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction
  • organize schedules and keep track of employees' hours to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • supervise daily shift operations, including front- and back-of-house activities
  • order food, linens, gloves, and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
  • control operational costs and identify ways to minimize waste to maximize profitability
  • ensure all end-of-day cash outs are completed accurately and efficiently
  • appraise staff performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • interview and recruit new employees to maintain adequate staffing levels and support business growth
