Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience within restaurants or banquets
  • Food Service Sanitation certification
  • Ability to enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Positive guest service orientation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Four year college degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a related field
  • Food Service Sanitation certification required
  • Alcohol Service permit if state required
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and guest service focus
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, marketing initiatives, budgeting, and policy enforcement
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance through supervision, counseling, evaluations, and recognition
  • Monitor and assess product quality, service satisfaction, and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Initiate and implement marketing and up-selling techniques to maximize revenue
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training team members
  • Act in the absence of the manager when needed
