Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum two years supervisory experience in restaurants or banquets
- Food Service Sanitation certification
- Alcohol Service permit if state required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Four year college degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred
- At least two years experience in related field required
- Food Service Sanitation certification required
- Alcohol Service permit if state required
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and guest service focus
Job Duties
- Assist in management of operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, marketing initiatives, budgeting and forecasting
- Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, counselling, evaluations and recognition
- Monitor and assess product quality, service and satisfaction trends and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Assist in initiating marketing and up-selling techniques to promote food and beverage services
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
- Act in absence of the manager as needed
