Job Requirements
- Work requires effective communication in English both verbal and written
- work requires a minimum of an Associate’s Degree preferably in hotel and/or restaurant management
- work prefers 2 years previous Starbucks supervisory experience
- must present a neat and professional appearance
- work requires ability to compile compute and analyze pertinent data needed for reports
- work requires flexibility to work various shifts
- work requires knowledge of computer programs including Word Excel and Windows
Job Qualifications

- minimum Associate’s Degree preferably in hotel or restaurant management
- graduate of post high school
- two year Culinary Arts School or equivalent technical training in food service industry may substitute on a year for year basis
- preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel or Restaurant Management
- preferred 2 years previous Starbucks supervisory experience
- neat and professional appearance
- ability to compile, compute, and analyze data for reports
- preferred bilingual abilities

- knowledge of computer programs including Word, Excel, and Windows
Job Duties
- Manages the day-to-day operation of the outlet in accordance with established policies and procedures
- establishes and administers training programs within the outlet including new employee orientation
- directs the development and administration of controls for all phases of the outlet to ensure economical and profitable operation while maintaining standards
- coordinates food preparation methods and assists with food service procedures to maximize customer satisfaction
- maintains efficient scheduling to ensure high standards of food preparation and service using minimal man-hours
- maintains and instructs personnel on safety policies and follows up to eliminate hazards
- monitors food appearance and addresses deviations from standards with food prep supervisors
- responds immediately to customer complaints to ensure corrective actions
- compiles annual budget, variance reports, weekly management reports, comp reports, linen, glass, silver, and menu inventory, and other necessary reports
- monitors employee compliance with policies and procedures
- oversees follow-up work to prevent recurrence of errors and ensures compliance with procedures working closely with Business Office and Internal Audit
- counsels, guides, and instructs personnel in job performance
- prepares and coordinates periodic performance reviews of assigned staff
- recommends changes including hiring, promotion, demotion, release of personnel, and wage adjustments within guidelines
- interviews potential employees recommended by Personnel
