Job Requirements
- Previous food and beverage management or supervisory experience required
- ability to walk and stand throughout an eight-hour shift
- ability to lift, balance and carry large, oval dining room service trays
- ability to organize and prioritize under pressure
- knowledge of basic sanitation
- knowledge of computer operations and ordering procedures
- ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors
- ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly including service procedures, menus, dining room floor plan, and register operation
- ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality

Job Duties
- Assist manager in all aspects of restaurant operations
- respond immediately and graciously to guest service issues and report to the restaurant manager
- perform all job duties to maximize guest service
- conduct themselves professionally with awareness of guest views
- ensure a congenial dining room atmosphere
- be knowledgeable of all menu and general guest information
- adapt to change, staffing, and procedures
- be knowledgeable in special service procedures and paperwork
- maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- communicate and maintain teamwork with co-workers and supervisors
- handle all guest service issues graciously
- offer input to manager on staff performance
- perform duties of host, server, server assistance, and food runner when needed
- understand policies and procedures in the employee handbook
- perform tasks requested by food and beverage management
- accept additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by manager
