Job Qualifications

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • A solid understanding of restaurant or retail operations
  • A minimum of six months of management experience in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) context or at least one year in entry-level retail management
  • A proven ability to operate shifts independently
  • Strong mathematical, reading, and computer skills
  • The capability to follow directions while also working autonomously, solving problems effectively as they arise
  • A commitment to meeting SONIC's appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Hiring, training, and managing a talented team to deliver a SuperSONIC experience to every guest
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction to encourage repeat visits
  • Helping employees understand their roles and how they contribute to our success by sharing insightful perspectives on tasks
  • Celebrating achievements as a team and providing ongoing coaching for performance enhancement
  • Establishing clear expectations and maintaining open communication throughout each shift
  • Fostering a positive, energetic atmosphere that makes work enjoyable for everyone
  • Managing key operational aspects such as inventory, labor costs, and guest service
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation in accordance with SONIC policies
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
