Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year leadership experience internally or 3 years assistant manager experience externally
- Completion of assistant manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer keyboard
- Ability to drive personal vehicle for business needs
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as shift leader or assistant manager for internal candidates
- Minimum 3 years experience as assistant manager with P&L responsibility for external candidates
- Completion of assistant manager training classes
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to operate computers and related software
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels and implement training systems
- Create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent guest service and food quality
- Monitor adherence to food safety and operational procedures
- Respond to guest concerns professionally and ensure positive resolution
- Partner with restaurant manager to analyze financial performance and implement improvement plans
- Develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
- Serve as a role model for excellent guest service and employee motivation
