Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift
- ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
- ability to operate a computer keyboard
- must complete Assistant Manager training
- must be ServSafe certified
- valid driver's license and insurance
- willingness to travel to other restaurants and business locations as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1+ years experience as a Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- minimum 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager for external recruit
- must be 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotion
- must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to perform basic math
- proven analytical and planning skills
- working knowledge of personal computers and software
- valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle
- demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
- monitors staffing levels
- ensures training systems are implemented
- creates a friendly, fun, clean, and safe environment
- motivates and inspires employees
- manages daily activities to ensure operational excellence
- ensures exceptional guest experiences
- monitors food safety and compliance
- responds to guest concerns
- maintains restaurant cleanliness and brand image
- partners with Restaurant Manager to analyze performance
- develops and executes action plans for sales and profitability
- monitors costs and adherence to budget
- performs other related duties as assigned
